Somewhere between a glittering synth surface and an emotional undertow, FICHE makes synth pop music for the moments that are either fleeting too fast or staying too long. With a producer's ear and a songwriter's instinct, he dives into the vast synth landscape of the 80s, but with an urgency that feels very much of now.
The debut single It's Over arrives on May 22, 2026. It’s a song about overcrowded needs and longing; about feeling too much, wanting too much, and eventually realising something no longer fits. Electronic textures, warm synthesizers and pounding drums remind the listener of the driving soundtracks of Blade Runner or the emotionally charged world of The Weeknd. Produced to the last detail, yet raw enough to land.
Behind FICHE is Max Zauner: drummer, producer and mixing engineer well known from the Austrian music scene through his work in bands like Kitty in a Casket, ELSA and Greyshadow. FICHE explores a new side of his solo work and it doesn't ease in gently: His debut single is followed by a remix of fencah's No Melancholy, Goodbye feat. Ivery on June 19.

Irgendwo zwischen glitzernder Synthwave-Oberfläche und emotionalem Tiefgang macht FICHE Synth-Pop für die Momente, die entweder viel zu schnell vergehen oder viel zu lange bleiben. Mit dem Gespür eines Produzenten und dem Instinkt eines Songwriters taucht er in die weite Sound-Landschaft der 80er ein, bringt aber eine Dringlichkeit, die sich sehr gegenwärtig anfühlt.
Die Debütsingle It's Over erscheint am 22. Mai 2026. Ein Song über unerfüllte Bedürfnisse und Sehnsucht. Über zu viel fühlen, zu viel wollen, jedoch mit der Erkenntnis, dass sich das nicht mehr ganz ausgehen kann. Elektronische Texturen, warme Synthesizer und treibende Drums erinnern an die packenden Soundtracks von Blade Runner, oder an die emotional aufgeladene Welt von The Weeknd. Bis ins letzte Detail produziert, und trotzdem roh genug, um zu wirken.
Hinter FICHE steckt Max Zauner: Schlagzeuger, Produzent und Mixing Engineer, bekannt aus der österreichischen Musikszene durch Bands wie Kitty in a Casket, ELSA und Greyshadow. FICHE ist eine neue Seite seines Soloschaffens mit dem Motto “Doppelt hält besser”: Die Debütsingle It's Over erscheint am 22. Mai, gefolgt von einem Remix von fencahs No Melancholy, Goodbye feat. Ivery am 19. Juni.
